ICCL - Instant Crystal Command Line
Need a quick and simple way to schedule reports? Try ICCL! ICCL enables you to run a crystal report with a command line. You can use this from Event Scheduler, Task Scheduler, SQL Server Scheduler, a windows command line or from any application capable of running a command line. The user friendly command line generator is built in to help you build your crystal reports command lines. ICCL is compatible with reports from Crystal 8.0 through XI. It will refresh crystal reports or export them to the folder destination of your choice in Crystal, PDF or excel formats. If you need the date appended it will also add a date to the file name. Here are some Examples: "c:\iccl\iccl.exe" path=c:\crystalreport1.rpt ex=c:\crystalreport1.xls date=True u=user p=password This runs the report at c:\crystalreport1.rpt using the username and password specified and exports it, with the date appended to the name, in excel format to c:\crystalreports120060501.xls "c:\iccl\iccl.exe" path=c:\crystalreport1.rpt u=user p=password This runs the report at c:\crystalreport1.rpt using the username and password specified and exports it in crystal format to c:\crystalreport1.rpt ... basicly just refreshing the existing file. *** *** This will overwrite the existing file with a Crystal XI report which you may not be able to open with an older version of Crystal.
